Deputy health minister urges drug policy reform

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 — Deputy Health Minister Datuk Lukanisman Awang Sauni today called for an urgent drug policy reform, emphasising the need for decriminalisation.

Dr Adeeba appointed as commissioner of the Global Commission on Drug Policy

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19 — Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) chairman cum Universiti Malaya Centre of Excellence for Research on AIDS (CERiA) director Prof Datuk Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman has been appointed to the Global Commission on Drug Policy as its latest commissioner, making her the first Malaysian to hold that distinction.
